The Power of Prayer

“I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. This is good and pleases God our Savior, who wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth. For, There is one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity—the man Christ Jesus. He gave his life to purchase freedom for everyone. This is the message God gave to the world at just the right time.” ‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭2‬:‭1‬, ‭3‬-‭6‬ ‭NLT‬ For the Power of prayer and intercession is Mighty in Christ Jesus. We prayed, fasted, and fervently interceded for two years for Melinda who battled addiction. God’s timing was perfect. It was His will to set her free from captivity when she had lost hope and faith in God. I’m thankful for having a community of faith-filled women who locked arms with me and my family in intercession prayer. This is the prime example of why having the right God fearing community of women is important. Through faith- deliverance, healing, and restoration can take place for your loved ones, just as it did for my sister. Gods promises are true and tangible. By His power of deliverance, God will do something new. He’s waiting for you to seek Him above all else and He will give you a new identity found in His Love, Mercy, and Grace. Just like the day He met Melinda right where she was in the middle of addiction on March 9, 2024, since then her life has forever been transformed. To witness God’s sovereignty has transformed me as well. It ignited a fire in my spirit to not only be a willing vessel but to walk in obedience to the Lord Jesus’ will, plan, and purpose in my life. I’m forever thankful and honored to give Him all the glory, honor, and adoration.
